Wow! Evan had such a big weekend. Lots of firsts. We started by turning Evan's crib into a "big boy bed." He hasn't quite figured out that there's not much keeping him in his room or from playing with his toys in the middle of the night, but we're not in a hurry to tell him this. When he woke up the first morning, he called out for mommy and daddy and then told us he wanted to come in our room. Too cute.
On Saturday morning Evan went for his first bike ride in his new bike seat. He liked it so much that he fell asleep on his second ride. The seat must be comfortable!
We hit the beach for the first time this summer too. Of course Evan loved it. Then, after all these fun events, we capped off the weekend with one final "first." Yes, Evan threw up for the first time (other than baby spit up) this weekend. He'd had too much fun swimming and gulping up kiddy pool water at a friend's house, and then choked a bit on a chip during dinner which led to a wicked throw up scene. All over mommy. It was awesome. A bath (and shower for mommy) later, and we were all good. He's sleeping soundly now in his "new" bed. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
