Getting Closer

Our little guys is getting so close to walking. Just the other day he timidly took a few steps before sitting down on his butt. He's getting a lot better at walking holding just one of our fingers or walking behind one of his push toys in the yard or through the living room. It's only a metter of time before we're chasing him around the house.

Busiest July Ever!

We've had quite a busy July. Every weekend there seems to be something going on, hence the lull in blog posts. We've been able to take the little guy to the beach, but it's been so hot here, he's also spent lots of time indoors. Hopefully the heat breaks and we can get him back outside.

Summer fun!

It definitely feels like we're in the full swing of summer here!  It's been hot and mostly sunny.  We've been trying to spend as much time outside as we can, though the little guy heats up pretty fast so we're a bit limited.  We had a great time at a 4th of July bbq last weekend and then Evan and I spent yesterday morning at the lake watching daddy compete in a triathlon.  Daddy did great!  Grandma and Grandpa Turzynski are visiting this weekend as well so Evan got to play with his cousin Grayson last night.

Evan's little personality (maybe I shouldn't call it little just yet) continues to develop and we love him more every day as we learn more about who he wants to be.  Right now he's VERY interested in trucks.  I think he spent most of his down time while waiting for daddy at the triathlon either looking at his truck book or pushing trucks around the grass.  One might call it an obsession, but we think it's pretty cute.

Trip to K.C. & Basement Demo

Happy Fourth of July!
Evan, Mommy and Auntie Toby went to Kansas City this weekend, to attend cousin Grace's baptism. With the little guy out of the house for a few days, it seemed to be an opportune time for Daddy to demo the basement...Evan did great on the plane rides and everybody had a good time. Daddy got the basement demo done, with some help from our buddy Sean. Now we get to celebrate the Fourth of July together!
