Rough Weekend

We had a few extra days off over this Memorial Day weekend, but they were a bit rough. First Mommy was sick, then Daddy started to get sick and the then little guy got pink eye. Oh boy. We're all on the mend, but the last couple days have been brutal. Here's to next weekend.

Rainy Weekend

We're spending lots of time indoors this weekend. But Evan's having a good time, and he has been making us laugh a lot. He's discovering that he can do more things and his fine motor skills seem to be improving everyday.

Spring has Sprung!

Evan's been loving being outside this week!  The weather cooperated for part of it at least.  He had a playdate with his cousin Grayson today - they went to the park, took simultaneous naps (yea!), and then took turns cruising in the Cozy Coupe.

Wanna race?

Evan decided that he wanted to venture out a bit this weekend and figure out something new to do with his race track.  Because putting cars in it to spin around wasn't fun enough.  I walked into the living room and there was Evan, smiling, sitting cross-legged in the race track.  We laughed so hard, so of course he wanted to do it again.  Gotta love his explorative nature:)

"C" is for Cookie

Evan is following in his mommy's footsteps in terms of his love for sweet treats!  Aunt Toby brought over some chocolate chip cookies and as you can see, Evan devoured them!  Well, not all of them.  We haven't gone that far yet!  He's also getting used to having his hands in the grass - a week ago, he hated the feel of the grass on his hands.  He would actually crawl around the sidewalk or the perimeter of the blanket we had in the grass, but once his hands touched the grass he'd back off.  Last night he was booking it around the yard.  Should be a fun summer!
