Evan's First Cold

Our little guy had a good run, almost 9 months without getting sick. He started getting hoarse and coughing last Wednesday and was touch and go over the weekend. Then this week he started getting a little worse and we took him to the pediatrician's office Wednesday night. They told us he had RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) and an ear infection. Not too serious for him at his age, but he needs to stay home the rest of the week, which means Mommy or Daddy needs to stay home the rest of the week. And he got a "Nebulizer" (photo below) and anti-biotics... FUN!!!

Here's Evan's new Nebulizer. It's just a respirator that creates a misted medication
to help clear up his lungs. The Panda shaped pump is kind of genius... he thinks it's
hilarious and it helps ease him, since he hates when people mess with his face.
