Raiding the Cabinets and Raiding the Zoo

Evan got to go to the Zoo with Mommy to see the baby farm animals on Friday. It's hard to take photos when it's just one of us with him, but there's a few below. Evan's new thing is to raid the cabinets, he's particularily fond of the box of granola bars seen below.

Evan's First Easter

Evan enjoyed his first Easter by spending most of the day outside in the sun....FINALLY!!!!  He loved being outside, but he's not yet a fan of crawling in the grass.  He literally will crawl around the perimeter of the blanket or the sidewalk, but once his hands hit the grass, he pulls back.  We think he'll grow out of that this summer....hopefully.

Evan's 50th Post!

This is our 50th blog entry in "NE+WI = Awesome." It's hard to believe, but we've had so much to talk about and show everybody with our little guy. He keep surprising us and making us laugh everyday. Tonight he had some fun with his new Lawnmower that he got for his birthday. He also had a good time with his musical snail.

We're looking forward to this weekend, the weather is supposed to be nice and we're heading up to Shoreview to see Aunt Rachel, Uncle Danny and Cousin Grayson for Easter brunch.

Birthday Weekend Photos

It has been a bit crazy here, but we're getting back into our routine. Evan's first birthday was last Saturday (April 9th) and we had such a great time. We had a bunch of family and friends at the house to celebrate Evan's first year. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to him and he got to tear through a cupcake (homemade by Mommy and Auntie Toby). Here are some of our favorite photos from the weekend...

Goodbye Grandma

We lost Grandma Florence (Turzynski) last week. She was 94, and lived a long, wonderful life and brought joy to many. We just got back from a trip to Wisconsin to lay her to rest. The service was good and it was nice to see all the Turzynski's. We're so happy she got to meet her great grandson last summer, who shares his middle name (Anthony) with her beloved husband. We'll miss you grandma... Tell grandpa we said "hi."

We can't believe it, but our little guy turns 1 today!  We've been looking through photos from the last year and are amazed at how much he has changed and therefore how much we have changed too!  He's truly our joy every single day!  Happy Birthday buddy!  Mom and Dad love you!

High 40's and Sunny!

We had a busy weekend. The weather was great. We were able to get Evan outside Saturday and Sunday. We went to the park and took a ride on the swings. Evan got to help mommy and daddy with some spring cleaning too. We're all very excited for the little guy's first birthday party next weekend.
